My first goal was to publish my website which I did. wearhysteria.com it added legitimacy to my instagram and tik tok profile as well as just making a couple sales. I disregarded all my other goals to focus on nfts. it seems that not a lot of people know what an nft is. it’s not a cryptocurrency. crypto is hard enough to understand and now we have nfts so what is an nft? it’s a nonfungible token. it’s digital art. a nonfungible token means that it’s one of a kind unlike a cryptocurrency. a nonfungible token can be practically anything. a song, a picture, a tweet. Actually, the founder of twitter just sold a tweet for just under $3 million. the interesting thing is that anyone can screenshot or easily make a copy of an nft. so why own an nft? well, there are a few reasons. one reason is that you can enjoy being the owner of it. just like owning an original piece of art owning an nft gives you the right to sell if you so choose and is in theory worth a lot more than a copy. but the more common reason to own an nft is to enjoy royalties. some nfts come with benefits to owning them. for instance, there are nfts out there that pay you money just for owning them! some nfts can give you a special item in a video game, or a skin.
