My first goal for my 2-week plan was to make more money in the stock market. After further thinking and talking to my teacher, Mr. Welty, I decided to change this goal. I believed this goal was too vague and if I had a bad day in the market I still could learn something. So I decided to change it, to figure out how to perform a technical analysis on stock to determine whether I should buy it or not. I figured out that I can look at charts on a program and figure it out from there looking at various indicators. My second goal was to learn about negotiations. I have started to read a book about it, and so far have learned to separate the people from the problem and approach the situation without any emotions. My third goal was to learn more about real estate. Although I didn't learn about real estate, I dove into retirement accounts. I learned that a 401k may not be for me, and a Roth IRA may be a better option because I plan to be in a higher tax bracket when I retire. My goals were realistic and I achieved them. My biggest achievement was learning about retirement accounts. I would like to research more on each goal.
